This year red chilli sowing is delayed in Andhra Pradesh. As per ministry of agriculture Andhra Pradesh, till date 120 hectares has been sown compared to 422 hectares sown at the same time last year. Normal in season area is around 125154 hectares in the state. Sowing has started in Kurnool, Prakasam and Anantapur districts.
