As per sources, this year Red Chilli area likely to go down in major growing regions of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Madhya Pradesh. As per ministry of agriculture Andhra Pradesh, Red Chilli sowing has started in Kurnool, Guntur and Anantpuram and till date 120 hectares has been sown against 422 hectares sown at the same time last year.
