As on February 15’ 2017, in Andhra Pradesh, Rabi red chilli has been sown in an area of 24711 hectares as against 23828 hectares sown at the same time last year. West Godavari district reported 1942 hectares compared to last year 1911 hectares. Guntur district reported 7898 hectares compared to last year 2120 hectares. Prakasam district reported 17711 hectares compared to last year 9427 hectares.
