Thailand Rice exports totaled over 4.99 mt during the period January June 2016, up by 5% from India's rice export. Rice export from India stood at 4.76 mt for the period January June 2016. Thailand rice export is up by more than 87% from Vietnam's rice export of 2.66 million tonnes for the same period. Thailand rice export is expected to touch 9.5 million tonnes by the end of this year.
