Thailand Rice exports totaled over 4.99 million tonnes during the period Jan- Jun 2016, up by 5% from India's rice export. Rice export from India stood at 4.76 million tonnes for the period Jan- Jun 2016. Thailand rice export is up by 87% from Vietnam's rice export of 2.66 million tonnes for the same period. Thailand rice export is expected to touch 9.5 million tonnes by the end of this year.
