Summer paddy planting activities are started in the key producing states of India. Paddy is cultivated in kharif, rabi and summer season the country. Hot and humid weather is good for the paddy crop growth. Indian Agriculture Ministry is encouraging paddy farmer to adopt ‘SRI’ method of cultivation which gives higher quality yield.
