In wholesale markets of Punjab state, rice trade was largely subdued, with prices of basmati Pusa 1121 (steam) variety hovering around Rs 4900 per quintal, unchanged from the previous session. Arrivals of basmati Pusa 1121 variety were around 20,000 bags in Amritsar spot markets, according to the traders from Punjab state.
