Paddy| Global rice trade next year is forecast

Global rice trade next year is forecast to edge up 1.4 percent from 2015 to 45.3 million tonnes due to poor harvests, mostly in Asia, and government efforts to build stocks amid concerns about El Nino weather impacts, the United Nation food agency said. In the coming months the crop's progress is expected to support rice prices.
