According to the Agriculture Ministry of India’s recent reports received from States, the total paddy sown/transplanted area across the states of India as on 26th June stands at 23.28 lakh hectares. During the same period last year, the total paddy sown/transplanted area across the states of the country was 25.04 lakh hectares.
