Worldwide supplies of mustard seed has been waning and is expected to tighten further in 2016-2017 year. Global stockpile of mustard has shrunk by 30% over the last year, and with lack luster harvest prospects for this year. This season the India’s average yields of mustard are expected to be slightly higher than levels achieved in 2013-14.
