This season the India’s average yields of mustard are expected to be slightly higher than levels achieved in 2013-14. Worldwide supplies of mustard seed has been waning and is expected to tighten further in 2016-17. Global stockpile of mustard has shrunk by 30% over the last year, and with lack luster harvest prospects for this year.
