The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, hiked the minimum support price (MSP) for mustard by Rs 50 to Rs 3100 per quintal for marketing in the 2015-2016 season. Mustard sowing activities are started in the key producing states of North India. Pusa Mahak, Pusa Agrani, Pusa Jaikisan, Pusa Bold, Jaggannath are the mustard varieties.
