As per reports, Mustard Acreage in the ongoing Rabi season touched 61.7 lakh hectares as on December 2’ 2016 up 13.6% from a year ago. Rajasthan, the top mustard producing state, planted 27.3 lakh hectare up 17% from a year ago. Uttar Pradesh planted 11 lakh ha up 10% from a year ago. Madhya Pradesh planted 6.35 lakh hectare of Mustard seed up 12% from a year ago.
