New arrival from the fresh crop has started hitting in Madhya Pradesh. New arrival from Uttar Pradesh is expected to hit local mandies by mid-June. As per reports, this year crop area is almost 45 – 50% lower. Stockiest are releasing their old stock and this is exerting pressure on prices at this level.
