Arrivals of new moong or green gram is started in the major markets of Madhya Pradesh. Moong prices have been witnessing an uptrend for the past few days with demand outstripping arrival. Moong prices being quoted at Rs 6,700-7,000 per quintal at Indore market. Decline in stock of old moong has also added to uptrend in moong.
