China is preparing to sell ageing corn from its bulging national reserves to the companies that can use it to churn out products such as ethanol or starch, according to the industry sources. The move would come even as a stockpiling scheme is there to support farmers. It is expected to add record amounts of new grain to the stores, said the industry sources.
