The International Grains Council raised its forecast for global corn production in 2015-16 although it remained well shy of the prior season's record crop with a drawdown in stocks still anticipated. The International Grains Council, forecast that a global maize crop in 2015-16 of 951 million tonnes, up 10 million from the previous month's projection.
