The France's farm ministry lowered its forecast for the 2015 grain maize harvest. Maize suffered from drought and record heat during its crucial summer development period. The farm ministry fo the country reduced to 13.1 million tonnes its outlook for the grain maize (corn) harvest, down 400,000 tonnes from its earlier (September) estimate.
