The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, chaired by the Prime Minister, has given its approval for Minimum Support Prices (MSPs) of maize at Rs 1325 per quintal for 2015-16 Season. The minimum support price (MSP) for maize is increased by Rs 15 per quintal as compare to the last season. Maize is sown in kharif, rabi and summer season.
