Presently summer maize sowing activities are going on in the key producing states of India. Light to heavy soil and well drainage is suitable for the maize sowing. According to the Agriculture Expert, time suitable for summer maize sowing is upto 15 February. Maize is cultivated in kharif, rabi and summer seasons in India.
