Presently maize crop is in vegetative growth stage in the key growing areas of India. In India maize is cultivated in all the three seasons summer, kharif and rabi. Maharashtra, Bihar and Karnataka are the major maize producing states in the country. Presently maize prices were declined below MSP on account of higher arrivals and less demand.
