Presently maize crop is in reproductive growth stage in the key growing areas of India. In India maize is cultivated in all the three seasons kharif, rabi and summer. Bihar, Maharashtra and Karnataka are major maize producing states in the country. Presently maize prices were declined below MSP on account of higher arrivals and less demand.
