Maize prices in major spot markets in India are declined below the minimum support price (MSP) on account of less demand and higher new arrivals of the crop. Central government declared Rs 1310 per quintal minimum support price (MSP) for best quality maize having moisture content below 14 percent. Prices at Sangli were Rs 1200-1260 per quintal.
