Maize prices have crossed the minimum support price (MSP) range in the major spot markets in India on the account of good demand and decline in arrivals. The area under sowing of total Coarse cereals in the country is at 56.43 lakh hectares as compared to last year’s sowing of 59.61 lakh hectares, according to the Ministry of Agriculture.
