Maize prices globally are expected to recover from multi-year low on lower production estimates in US, European Union, Brazil, Argentina and Ukraine. However, the recovery is likely to be gradual and moderate due to higher ending stocks. World production to drop by 3.4% to 974.9 million metric tons (MMT) compared to 1008.7 MMT last year.
