Maize| Indian government has decided to increase

Indian government has decided to increase its maize imports to meet the requirements of starch and poultry industry. The state owned trading firm PEC has obtained government nod for importing 5,00,000 tonnes of maize at zero duty. Costs of poultry feed continue to remain high with record highs seen in maize prices in current fiscal.
