China has turned to non traditional maize exporters on restrained imports from the US due to the presence of an unapproved genetically modified (GMO) strain. Lower prices in non traditional exporting countries, including Bulgaria and Ukraine, have prompted private feed mills in the world's second largest consumer to buy corn from them.
