Bullish trend in maize prices were prevailing in the major spot markets on the account of good domestic demand and decline in the rabi maize arrivals, according to the analysts. At Sangli spot market in Maharashtra state, maize prices were upto Rs 1375 per quintal. Presently summer maize crop is in the vegetative growth stage.
