With Monsoon hitting most parts of Gujarat, Jeera prices started rising on limited supplies and good spot demand. According to Dept. of Commerce data, the export of Jeera during 2015-16 (Apr-Feb) surged to 93539 tons compared to 1.56 lt exported last year same period.Jeera prices are trading around 17000 to 17500 a kilo.
