Jeera pricse moved up on the back of strong demand from stockists. Tight supply at the producing belt pushed up the price of the spice. Increased buying by stockists against restricted supplies from producing regions mainly led to the rise in jeera prices. At Unjha mandi of Gujarat prices gained by Rs 30 to Rs 2,200-2,900 per 20 kg.
