Jeera| Jeera prices started easing at the spot market

Jeera prices started easing at the spot market with a slump in demand after shipments started from Syria. Syria is active in the market and Turkey is likely to enter in a couple of weeks. Syria is India's main rival in cumin exports. Jeera is the largest exported spice after chilli from India. Jeera production was 3.5 lakh ton in 2015-16, which was 10% higher from the previous year.
