Jeera prices are firm after downward revision in production of Jeera for 2016/17 by Gujarat Agriculture Department in its third advance estimates for 2016/17. Production of Jeera in Gujarat is revised down to 2.12 lakh tonnes, down 4% from its 2nd estimates and almost 11% down compared to last year production of 2.38 lakh tonnes.
