Jeera or cumin seed spot prices were increased at the major markets of Gujarat state. According to the traders, jeera prices were up on account of the decline in arrivals in the markets and good export demand. Sowing of the jeera has almost over in Gujarat and Rajasthan state, reported lower acreage as compare to the last year.
