Jeera futures prices dropped sharply on Monday on expectation of good production. This year Jeera sowing is satisfactorily and so far, weather is also favorable for Jeera crop. Traders anticipate the Jeera crop to be at the same level as that of last year at around 45-50 lakh bags. (one bag=55 kg)
