High carry over stock and limited export demand is expected to check Guar seed prices to rise further. Guar seed prices rose in spot & in futures on reports of lower sowing acreages this year. Guar prices have been declining in the last two years and this sudden jump in prices may encourage stockiest to sell their stocks in the market when demand is still not substantial to drive prices up.
