The groundnut production in India is estimated at 7.47 million tonnes during 2014-2015 year, as per the second Advance Estimates of Department of Agriculture & Cooperation. Total production of oilseeds in the country is estimated at 29.83 million tonnes, with decrease of 2.92 million tonnes over the last year’s yield.
