The Indian Oilseeds and Produce Export Promotion Council (IOPEC) has projected the groundnut output at 4.33 million tonnes (MT) this year as compared to 5.16 MT last year. Deficient monsoon rainfall had impacted groundnut sowing, estimated at 3.26 million ha in 2014 versus 3.64 million hectares in 2013, said the IOPEC Official.
