Presently sowing activities of summer groundnut is going on in the Gujarat state. GG-2, GG-5 and GG-7 groundnut varieties are recommended for summer sowing in the Gujarat state. Due to prevailing dry weather and low temperature in Andhra Pradesh state, leaf spot (tikka) disease incidence was noticed on groundnut crop.
