Indian groundnut export in the year 2014-15 is expected to cross 600,000 tonnes, in comparison with 512,000 tonnes last year. Groundnut is a major oilseed crop in India. Gujarat is key groundnut producing state in India. Groundnut acreage in India is down from the previous year by 7 lakh hectares, according to the Agriculture Ministry.
