Gujarat is the major groundnut producing state in India. Traders from Rajkot market said that due to supply shortage of groundnut and good demand from brands had raised groundnut oil price in last few days. According to the traders, the supply of groundnut is not enough to match the demand. Groundnut oil price are expected to increase in coming days.
