Groundnut is cultivated in kharif, rabi and summer season in India. This year central government has declared the MSP of groundnut at Rs 4000 per quintal which is same as the last year. The Indian government is targeting 1.81 million tons groundnut production from this rabi season, according to the Directorate of Oilseeds Development.
