Groundnut is cultivated in kharif, rabi and summer in India. Central government has declared the MSP of groundnut at Rs 4000 per quintal which is same as last year. The Indian government is targeting 1.81 million tons groundnut production from rabi season, as per the Directorate of Oilseeds Development.
