According to the latest data from the Directorate of Oilseeds Development, rabi groundnut has been planted across the states of India on 201,700 ha, down 15.1% from 237,600 hectares a year ago. In Karnataka, the rabi groundnut has been planted across 54,000 hectares, up from a modest 2,000 hectares sown in the year ago period.
