World ending cotton stocks are expected to decline 8% to 20.4 million tonnes, which makes up for around 86% of global cotton use in 2015-16, stated the International Cotton Advisory Committee (ICAC). World cotton consumption is projected to decrease by 2% to 23.9 million tonnes. India’s consumption is expected to decline by 2% to 5.3 million tonnes.
