Union Agriculture Minister directed Cotton Corporation of India (CCI) to protect the interest of cotton farmers by ensuring procurement of cotton at Minimum Support Price (MSP) in the four cotton growing States, namely, Telangana, AP, Maharashtra and Gujarat. He concerned over the reports of sale of cotton allegedly below the MSP.
