The MSP for cotton is increased by Rs 50 per quintal as compare to the last season. The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, chaired by the Prime Minister, has given its approval for Minimum Support Price (MSP) of medium staple cotton at Rs 3800 per quintal and long staple cotton at Rs 4100 for 2015-16 Season.
