Cotton association of India is expecting country`s crop to be around 38 million bales while the Cotton Corporation of India is estimating crop around 37 million bales. Cotton production has declined from 40.73 million bales in 2013-14 to an estimated 38 million bales in 2014-15. Production is expected to further decrease to 35 million bales in 2015-16.
