Cotton association of India is expecting country’s crop to be around 38 million bales while the Cotton Corporation of India is estimating crop around 37 million bales. Cotton production has declined from 40.73 million bales in 2013-14 to an estimated 38 million bales in 2014-15 and a projected 35 million bales in 2015-16.
