Continuation of Chinese direct subsidy based policy and lower demand from spinning mills will keep India`s cotton prices under pressure. Financial year 2017 is unlikely to bring cheers for Indian cotton sector as prices are set to be under pressure. India Ratings and Research has maintained a negative outlook on cotton sector for FY17.
