China's new cotton policy has triggered the declining trend for international cotton prices and prices has been traversing the downward trajectory since April 2014. Cotton prices has been range-bound since Nov 2014 at $1.5 per Kg. Indian cotton prices have remained below the minimum support price during most of current cotton season.
